The boutique in Ballard Estate, South Mumbai, subtly incorporates its surroundings into its design. Beige hues, fluted cut glass columns, and Tarun Tahiliani's monogram on jaali screens define the interiors.

 

Silk rice paper walls showcase paintings of early India, while Parsi-style marble-top tables and brass handicrafts add an old-world charm. The tone-on-tone palette was intentionally chosen, allowing the vibrant colors of bridal wear to shine. This fusion of luxury and the ethereal, with elements like stone and mother-of-pearl, reflects Tarun Tahiliani's vision of India Modern.
